lifeizfab writes The draw has been made for this weekend's Golden Cue 3-man pool tournament, to be held over the weekend of 10th-11th May, at Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth.
Several teams from the Derbyshire area will be looking to make an impact at the event, and the many side events also being played. The best of luck to all of the Derbyshire teams taking part.

lifeizfab writes Not going to Yarmouth in May? For those not involved in any other event on this date, or just looking to enter a cheap-entry tournament, Premier Pool Promotions are running a World rules pool knockout at Riley's in Derby on Saturday 10th May 2008.
Although advance registration is requested players may bring their entry fees on the day, please telephone/text the tournament organiser on 07708 502906 and leave your details.
As with most of our events, such as here and here, we expect a good turnout and all competitors will, as always, have a full days play with results updated online at regular intervals during the event so if you cannot make the event log on to Derbyshirepool.com for the latest results.

lifeizfab writes Riley's American Pool & Snooker Club in Derby are pleased to announce there commitment to pool in the area and as a result the club on Babington Lane have replaced 3 of the American tables with English pool tables, taking the total number of English tables to ten.
On top of this Riley's will also sponsor the Charity Sevens Pool League, the only midweek pool league in Derby affiliated to the national association, and host the various cup competitions which the league runs. This will enable more money to be raised for good causes by the league.
The Derby inter-league team has also now moved to the venue and the club have committed to entering more teams into next seasons charity league.
